Today's feature is one we've been looking forward to for a while (since we both really love this girl's blog!). Jennifer of Art In Our Blood is a 17-year-old but super-mature Californian who has been blogging for a little over a year. Her style can probably best be described as romantic but edgy, feminine but sporty, delicate and demure but statement-making. We'll keep the rest of our opinions to ourselves, though, and let her and her blog speak for herself! Interview below!


1 - How do you keep up with your blogging in lieu with your other responsibilities?
I just try my best to fit it in to be honest! I normally do 3-4 posts per week which is manageable for me but I will admit that I do stay up later than I would like during the week on occasion in order to finish the outfit posts. It's a rewarding process though so the small loss of sleep is not too bad!

2 - Do you play any instruments/sports?
I used to play the piano, for about 10 years or so, but I stopped taking lessons once I started high school because it was hard to find time to practice sadly. I still play here and there but very rarely!

3 - In a perfect world, where would you imagine yourself in 10 years?
I would hope that I would already have accomplished my goal of being able to show a collection at NYFW and a have a label established under my name. I would like to live in New York of course, and I'd also like to not have any college debt by then. :)

4 - Do you have any personal heroes?
I'd say my two sheepdogs, Dolly and Charlie! ♥

5 - If you could have chosen your own name, what would it be?
I would probably choose Alessandra because that's what I would name my daughter if I ever had one in the future. I would name the boy Alexander. I really like those two names!

6 - Do you have any pets?
Besides my dogs, I also have a chinchilla, named Chin Chin!

7 - If you stumbled upon $5000 tomorrow, what would you buy with it?
I would save it for college actually! Art school tuition is rather high; if I did get a really nice scholarship though, I would give the money to my parents because the portfolio art classes they let me take can get expensive when you add each class up!

8 - Who has been the biggest influence in your life and what have you learned from them?
My dogs, because they've really helped me realize what things are important in life and not to get so caught up in chasing after a dream career that you forget to spend time with the people you care about.
