Quick post today - just want to introduce you to my new babies!
This isn't my first pair of mousies; I first saw MJ's mouse shoes at a department store when I was 14 and fell instantly in love, although it took me another 6 years to get around to getting a pair. But come on - I mean, they have whiskers, for love's sake! How can you resist the whiskers?!
Actually, I'm sure lots of people can more than resist the whiskers, but I can't anymore than I can resist this. And at about $200 a pop, they're hardly hyper-affordable, but not impossible to save for (although this was my Christmas gift). I do, however, have a STRONG disdain for the Charlotte Olympia cat shoes, which I view as a total rip-off not only in price (seriously? You can get much nicer shoes for that price) but in design - MJ beat you to it, and beat you better! (I should mention that I otherwise have great respect and love for a lot of CO's designs.)
What do you guys think of these - love 'em or hate 'em? (Boyf is a fan of the black & gold.)
In the meantime, these widdle cutie pies need names! - any suggestions? For some reason I can't get "Fran" and "Jan" out of my head, even though I don't particularly like the names individually.

They're really cute! But I honestly can't see myself wearing them, since 1. it would freak me out to see mice on my feet (they're still mice no matter how cute they might be) and 2. it would freak people around me to see me wearing those.

Haha, glad you're honest! I have a couple friends that think they're the creepiest things ever! On the other hand, though, I get more compliments on my red mouse shoes than any other shoes I own (maybe secretly it's because people are thinking "eek!" and just don't know what to say, though).
