January Wishlist (& the Downside of Employment)

1 Wuthering Heights Platform Ankle Boot by Fendi | Barney's New York $895 $359
(obligatory shoe-that-I-wish-I-could-afford)
2 2013 Mini Hard Cover Horizontal Weekly Planner | Moleskine $11
(because I can never get enough of notebooks, much less Moleskines, and the new year is as good an excuse as any to add to my collection, right?)
3 Jagger Edge Hang Fire iPhone 5 Cover | Shopbop $139
(something that would make a great gift for someone else but you would feel forever guilty for spending on yourself)
4 rag & bone 'Renard' Leather Tuxedo Stripe Leggings | Nordstrom or at rag & bone $395 $234
(because I NEED LEATHER RIDING PANTS, period.)
5 Cambridge Satchel Co. Leather Satchel | ASOS $200
(actually, I really want the backpack - this is the next big purchase on my list)
6 Siren Bangle in yellow gold | Mr. Kate $149
7 Two of a Kind His & Hers Hiball Set | Kate Spade $50
(because every now and then Boyf and I like to stay in and get drunk together, and what cuter way to do it than with these?!)
8 Canon Powershot G15 | Target $500
9 Hinge Velvet Blazer | Nordstrom $77
(because I need more blazers so I can pass for a real professional - and because it looks soft)
NOTE: ALL PRICES IN USD.

So guess what: my birthday is this week! I'm turning 22, the first number in a while that hasn't come with new benefits (18 I could vote & drink in some places, 20 was 2 decades, 21 I could drink in my home country, and 19 was almost 20), so I am disinclined to celebrate. The other thing is that I just still don't have many friends here (it's not because I'm not awesome - well, you try moving to a new country without a job, school, or any contacts and then you'll see what I mean). But if you want to take it upon yourself to brighten up my week, all gifts shall be graciously accepted (but preferably one of the above)!

In other news I've been pretty busy, trying to keep up with blogging as best as I can, but what can I say? I'm a workin' girl now, and the only blogging we workin' girls have time for is dress suit wishlists and pictures of sad microwave meals eaten in front of a computer. The downsides of having two jobs and no life to report on, I suppose, but if you follow me we'll call it your charity deed for the week and I'll lift my head from my coffee-fueled work-haze and feel a little brighter before I return to the endless proof-reading, English teaching, and public transport that is now my entire life.

  4. It is already great that you know exactly what you want and what is also important how much each of the wishes costs. I wish you get all of them as soon as possible, I am sure there must be people who want to make you happy.
